Social commitment at telegate

An increasing number of people serve in a honorary capacity in Germany: approximately 70 percent do voluntary work in organisations, associations or other groups - in addition to their professional obligations. The honorary activity of millions of citizens became an essential pillar of our community life.

Social commitment is also of importance at telegate. The company perceives itself as good corporate citizen with approximately 3,000 employees - approximately 1,800 in Germany thereof. telegate safeguards a social responsibility towards the fellow citizens at the company locations as largest call center-operator and on of the most important employers in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

telegate makes a sustainable contribution to the support of social and charitable projects in Guestrow, Rostock, Schwedt, Stralsund and Wismar as well as at the location Neubrandenburg (Brandenburg) and at the seat of the company’s headquarters in Martinsried near Munich.

The corporate citizen programme "telegate helps!" was launched in 2006 which was the company’s tenth anniversary. 17 projects were supported within the scope of this programme so far with approximately € 90,000. The focus of „telegate helps!“ is on projects and initiatives for the promotion of the work with children and young people, in particular. The company does not only help financially in this connection: many telegate-employees make a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of the projects by means of their personal commitment.
