Paolo Gonano (48) has been appointed to the Board of Management of telegate AG on March 11, 2002. He is responsible for all international activities of the German directory enquiry service provider.
Paolo Gonano holds a degree in Economics from University of Genoa and an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan.
He started his professional career at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) in 1984 and then moved to the Boston Consulting Group in Paris where he gained relevant experience in strategic analysis and business reeingineering. In 1994 he joined Piaggio, a motorcycle manufacturer, where he served initially as responsible for Strategic Planning and Corporate Development and later on as Marketing Director for the Commercial vehicle unit.
After joining Seat Pagine Gialle in 1999 as VP Corporate Development & Institutional Communication in late 2001, he was appointed as Director of the Directory Assistance business of the Group, comprising the Italian brands (89.24.24 and more recently 12.40) and the telegate AG operations, currently covering Germany, Spain and France.
