On July 1, 2005 the German Wertpapierprospektgesetz (WpPG – German Securities Prospectus Act) has come into effect, through which the legislator has issued a number of new stipulations regarding the publication duties of exchange-listed companies under Article 10 of WpPG. Accordingly, a document is to be prepared once every year for the public that contains all information published on behalf of national and international capital market stipulations, or that makes reference to said information made available over the preceding fiscal year.
