The German Corporate Governace Codex summarizes rules for efficient and responsible management and supervision of listed stock corporations in a concise and comprehensible form.
The Corporate Governance Code promotes responsible management and control of companies in line with long-term value added. Efficient cooperation between Management Board and Supervisory Board, attention to shareholder interest, openness and transparency of corporate communication are material aspects of good corporate governance.
With the introduction of the German Corporate Governance Code in Germany, national and international standards of responsible company management were anchored in a code, in addition to the legal regulations for managing and controlling German listed companies.
telegate AG is a listed company established in line with German law. Accordingly the company is managed by the Management Board and the Supervisory Board. For telegate a high management standard is a key element of the company’s self-image. For this reason the Management Board and the Supervisory Board welcome the introduction of a corporate governance code. telegate does not intend to establish its own code, as there are no special industry or company features which would necessitate this.
