On 1 October 2007 Jürgen von Kuczkowski took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of telegate AG.

As Vodafone’s former Managing Director for Germany and Chief Executive Officer for Central Europe he has been a member of telegate’s Supervisory Board since May 2006. Mr. von Kuczkowski also sits on the Supervisory Board of ARCOR AG & Co. KG, Eschborn and holds the chair of Vodafone Holding, Düsseldorf.

Jürgen von Kuczkowski started his professional career with SEL AG in 1963. In 1986 he became head of sales, marketing and logistics for SEL’s business line Office Communication. In October 1990 he joined Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH in Düsseldorf as Managing Director for sales. In 1994 he was made Executive Chairman of Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH, a position he held until the end of September 2005. With the take-over of Mannesmann through Vodafone, Jürgen von Kuczkowski was appointed to the Executive Committee of the British Group. Besides his role as Managing Director for Germany Jürgen von Kuczkowski also acted as Chief Executive Officer for Central Europe.
