Munich, March 18. 2005 - The directory services provider and call center operator telegate plans to hire approximately 100 new employees at the Güstrow, Neubrandenburg and Rostock locations during the next three months. This corresponds to more than 5% of the number of employees in the German subsidiaries. In this way telegate confirms its commitment to Germany as a business location and strengthens its position as a major employer in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The company is one of the five top employers and is already today the largest call center operator in the region.
'For me, this is also a great personal success', commented Chief Executive Officer of telegate AG, Dr. Andreas Albath. 'For the first time in four years we can hire new employees in the call centers again. Restructuring of the company has thus been completed for the time being. telegate is again back on a growth track,' Albath continued.
With the increase in personnel, telegate is responding to the positive future outlook. Strategic extension of the business model in Germany is bearing its first fruits. During the last two years new services, which meaningfully enhance conventional inquiry assistance, have been systematically developed for end customers. Customers can now choose between about 30 information services: from pharmacy emergency service through hotel reservation to vicinity search. Only a few weeks ago, the company also announced the extension of its company customer business. Primarily the call center services and data marketing fields, but also activities in the so-called yellow pages business, are expected to provide future growth and therefore a solid, second prop in Germany.
