telegate AG announces that it is not in discussions with Conduit
Munich, 4 February 2004 - Telegate AG, the German-based directory assistance service provider is aware of the ongoing press interest and speculation regarding a potential acquisition of all or parts of Kandel plc. (owner of the Irish-based directory assistance service provider Conduit, which operates the 11 88 88 number in the UK).
While telegate is strongly committed to the UK directory enquiries market through its 11 88 66 service, the company feels it necessary to confirm that it is currently not in talks with Kandel regarding such a transaction.
